C++ Class NewsSchedule RevisionSince we missed a class on February 28, I've adjusted the schedule to continue work on Chapter 10 on Monday and drop coverage of the Standard Template Library string class. Your last two assignments are due on Wednesday March 7 and Wednesday March 14. Grading ChangeBecause we only had 3 quizzes, I am reducing the part of the grade based on quizzes from 20% to 10% and increasing the percentage for programming assignments from 60% to 70%. The final remains unchanged at 20%. Old NewsClass Schedule ChangedThe schedule has been revised to reflect the fact that we will only be starting material on Functions (Ch. 3) on Monday, January 22. The assignment normally due on Monday is not due till Wednesday the 24th. Other parts of the schedule have been shuffled accordingly. Details of changes are reflected in the Class Schedule. FTP Site AvailableThe class FTP site is now available. Use your browser or an FTP client to connect to ftp://elmo.shore.ctc.edu/poole. Currently, you can download a zipped file containing all the sample code from the book as well as the text of programs I created in class last week. |
